London-based Anna Burns crosses the boundaries of installation art, set design, art direction, and everything in between. With a personal motto “put the right thing in the wrong place” (I love that!), Anna has an innate ability to twist the everyday concepts in the most unique and clever way, bringing a fresh and witty perspective to her images. Her aesthetic is hard to define – it sits somewhere between kitsch, glamorous and rock-star-grunge, but above all – it’s always unusual and unexpected. “I think at the moment people need an experience because everything is so virtual now – to walk into a space and actually feel something is quite important,” said Burns in her interview with .

She trained in fine arts and has come full circle, focusing on installation alongside commercial magazine work. As a set designer and art director, Anna works internationally on advertising and editorial shoots, product launches, fashion shows, moving image, exhibitions and art projects with an impressive client base that spans the likes of Balenciaga, Net-a-Porter, Casa de Abitare and Vogue Italia.

Anna’s ideas and research are informed by both her studies in fine art and her early career working in fashion magazines. Since launching her career, the studio has grown from specialising in still life to producing major creative projects. Collaborating with creative across the industry, Anna designs and directs all concepts from initial drawing to the final creation. Projects are created and nurtured with obsessive detail and enthusiastically interpreted with the chosen medium.

Check out her  for more of Anna’s amazing work. We seriously dig this chick. For reals.
