Dorothée Boissier is an interior designer who spent three years as a project manager for before joining ’s agency. Patrick Gilles is an interior and industrial design, who also worked alongside . Their encounter ultimately lead to the founding of in January 2004. Apart from being business partners, Dorothée and Patrick are also partners in life.

work with three architects and four interior designers from their Paris office. They travel frequently as they are firm believers that experiencing other cultures is creatively enriching and eye-opening. Art plays an important role within their practice, and they often enlist other creatives to develop and execute installations for their projects. Their clients include the , restaurant in  and , stores in New York, Milan and Paris, as well as a myriad of private homes and yachts. One of their most recent projects,  in Paris, was just nominated for in Best New Restaurant category.
